Chinese premier attends Mekong youth summit

Chinese premier Wen Jiabao has appeared at a conference in Laos for young people from Mekong nations and visited an environmental project on the river, state media reported, amid concerns about worsening pollution in the region.

A television documentary called "Drinking from the River", filmed by China’s state broadcaster CCTV, will air in Mekong countries in April.
