China plans to add one nuclear power plant a year until 2020, Reuters reported, citing Zhang Guobao, a deputy chief of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
All of the new plants will be along the country’s coast, the report quoted Zhang as saying.
Strong demand for uranium has recently pushed prices above historical levels.
